*This list of Restaurants, Breweries and Hiking Trails is courtesy of Lifeline Animal Organization: “LifeLine Animal Project manages Fulton and DeKalb County animal shelters and offers numerous programs in the community to keep pets and people together.” Lifeline Organization . Although their primary mission is to connect dogs with people, this group also offers various outreach programs, spay and neuter clinics and 3 shelters. They have managed to re-home over 16,000 dogs! Here are their “Fido” favorite local eateries, beer joints and hiking trails. I’ve been to some of these places (*) and can highly recommend them. Some are new to me. I will add more information if I can get my Fur-Parents to try them out. I frequented casual and mid-priced places. Einstein’s has a yummy brunch. It’s small inside so sit on the deck. Walk to Piedmont Park afterward. Play frisbee or grab an afternoon cocktail at the Park Tavern which was voted one of the best dog-friendly restaurants in Atlanta!
